Please keep the Smith family in your thoughts and prayers as they join in the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) walk on Saturday, May 5th.
“A Big Thank You to all who gave to this special cause”
What is Muscular Dystrophy?
The freedom to walk, to talk, to run and play. To laugh, to hug. To eat. To breathe. Each day these freedoms are taken away from kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that weaken muscle strength and limit their mobility.
Muscular Dystrophy Association
Fighting to free individuals and the families who love them from the harmful effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life threatening diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger. MDA is currently supporting 180 research projects worldwide.
Kids and adults make nearly 50,000 visits to MDA Care Centers each year.
More than 3,800 kids receive their “best week of the year” at MDA summer camp, free of charge.
